Winnipeg Phoenix FC is excited to offer our 2026-27 Futsal Winter League, providing players with a fast-paced and competitive way to keep playing throughout the winter.

The league runs from November 1, 2026 to January 31, 2027 and is OPEN TO ALL U11 to U17 players. You do not need to currently play for Winnipeg Phoenix FC to participate.

League Details

Season: November 1, 2026 - January 31, 2027
Age Groups: U11 to U17
Games: 12 games
Game Day: Saturdays
Game Window: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Registration Fee: $125 per player
Open to All: Phoenix and non-Phoenix players are welcome

Individual game times will fall within the Saturday 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM window. The final schedule and division structure will be communicated once registrations have been confirmed.

Futsal Format

Futsal is a fast-paced, small-sided version of soccer played indoors. The smaller playing area and reduced space encourage players to make quicker decisions, become more comfortable on the ball and stay constantly involved in the game.

The Winter League is designed to provide players with an additional competitive playing opportunity while continuing to develop their technical ability, creativity and decision-making.

Playing Surface & Footwear

All games will be played indoors on a gymnasium hard floor.

Players must wear appropriate indoor court footwear suitable for gym floors. Outdoor soccer cleats are not permitted.

Families should ensure players arrive with footwear that provides appropriate grip and is suitable for indoor play.

Open to All

The Futsal Winter League is open to everyone.

Players do not need to be currently registered with Winnipeg Phoenix FC and are welcome to participate regardless of their current club or team.

Our goal is to provide an accessible winter competition where players can play, compete and continue developing in a fun and challenging environment.

Divisions & Scheduling

Teams and divisions will be organized based on registration numbers within the U11 to U17 age groups.

Once registrations are confirmed, Winnipeg Phoenix FC will finalize the division structure and publish the full game schedule.

Games will take place on Saturdays between 2:00 PM and 10:00 PM.

Registration Fee

$125 per player

Registration includes participation in a 12-game Futsal Winter League season running from November through January.
